“In my youth, there was no better candy than White Rabbit candy. To this day the taste is the same, and every time I eat this candy, it brings back memories of when I was five, washing off the rice paper wrapper to get to the milky sweetness underneath. In this piece I wanted to represent how much I love the candy and how much space it took up in my little kiddy brain. When at home and there were no sweets, there would always be a Rabbit Candy at the bottom of the kitchen drawer, forever cementing itself as the most nostalgic food I’ve had.”
